Sent my Grandma Flowers

My grandma hasn't been doing so well the last few weeks. Hopefully things will be fine, but in the meantime, I sent her some flowers to cheer her up. I'm not sure I've sent her flowers before, so it was long overdue. She sent me a note telling me how pretty they were. I'm glad I could make her smile and let her know I love her.

Burgers and Beer!

As you all know, I've moved into my new place. I'm really excited about this move, as the house is adorable and the front and back yard is awesome. I feel like I live in the middle of a park with all the mature trees surrounding the house and the lovely view from my window. Well, I haven't seen my Butler friends as often as I like and they haven't seen my new house, so I decided to have them all over for a cookout....burgers and beer at Mona's! I don't actually have a grill, but the old tenants left an old charcoal grill that we are going to attempt to use. Gatherings with my Butler peeps is always a fun and interesting time, so I'm looking forward to it. Perhaps I'll have pictures of the event for you all to see.

Anthony Wayne 15 year Reunion for Class of '94

So Amy (Kronberg) Fifer and I are organizing the 15 year reunion! Amy is probably going to do a lot of the organizing, but I'll be playing the role of technology director. So, I have created a Facebook page for the event. Check it out if interested!

Chocolate Cake, Blueberry Cake, Gingerbread Cake and Ice Cream Galore!

My mom bakes. A lot. There was so much yummy food to be had while visiting in Ohio, it was great! James and I got there Friday night and chilled out. Then on Saturday, Melissa, Amy Kronberg (and her daughter, Emma) and my Grandma arrived. We had lots of food but saved room for lots of desserts. Then on Sunday, we drove past my old house on Ramm Road, past Anthony Wayne High School (go Generals!!), and parts of downtown Toledo. At one point, James and Melissa were looking through a lot of old family photos and all the bad hair I had throughout the years. It was a really fun time and I was glad to be able to share it with James (awwww).
