On Friday my department where I work held their own mini-olympics. The top pic is me looking like an idiot in a bike helmet prior to the first event. I stuck the US flag in my helmet to be festive. We had three events involving a tricycle-race, a hockey event, and another one involving one person pulling the other person on a little cart with wheels. It was entertaining. I participated in all the events, but didn't win any medals. I think Lindsay (my partner) and I were jipped on the last event, however. I pulled her on the cart-thingee and went really fast. See the bottom pic for that.

Friday I had a third check-up for the cysts on my right ovary to see how things are going. I will find out today or tomorrow what the results and recommendation will be. I can tell they are still there since I've been feeling a dull ache all weekend with a few jabs of pain here and there. I'm not sure if my doctor is going to ask me to wait another month and see or if more action will be necessary. I read up on cysts on WebMD that sometimes doctor's will recommend surgery if the cysts don't go away after 2 or 3 months. But this depends on age, overall health, the way the cyst looks, etc. I guess I'll wait and see. I'm actually surprised how I'm handling it all....I'm concerned and it's on my mind, but I'm not obsessively worrying about it. It makes me nervous, but I'm not waking up in the middle of the night freaking out about it.....which is something that I tend to do when something that worries me happens.

The Powerball is up to $250 million. I have never, not even once, purchased a Powerball ticket. I don't even buy the little scratch-off cards. But, I decided "what the hell" and put $20 into an office pool and then bought $10 worth on my own. I know, I know....you have more chance of being struck by lightening twice in the same hour than winning the lottery, but that's OK. I won't win, but think of how cool it would be if I did. I guess I'd finally buy a new car.
